If you are a charity, housing association, hospice or a voluntary/community group then the Shelagh Gaskill Bursary is available. Please look at the Bursary pages of our web-site and complete the booking form on the “Brochures” part of the web-site. The discount is worth up to £1000.

Discounts for NADPO or Data Protection Forum members

We are also delighted to feature NADPO and the Data Protection Forum as organisations we have long been associated with and which we recommend.  Indeed Amberhawk provide speakers for their events and we attend on a regular basis. The discount on offer is equivalent to a year’s free subscription to either of these bodies.

The discount is worth £250 if you book a comprehensive ISEB course and £150 if you book an Intensive ISEB course. The automated booking system will deduct the discount. If you book one of our on-site courses, there is a discount of £100 per day off our fees.

Both these bodies are professional organisations that represent people working in the field of data protection and freedom of information. Often working in the field of data protection and FOI means ploughing a lonely furrow; attendance at NADPO or Forum functions allows you to keep up to date on current issues, discuss problems with fellow professionals in the field, and network with other people in like-minded organisations. If you are not a member, we strongly advise that you take this opportunity to enrol as we are essentially providing a “cost free” trial for a year.

If you are not a member, you can still claim the discount if you promise to join either NADPO or the Data Protection Forum within a week of booking the course.
